Our hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. We’re located adjacent from the Baseline Landfill on the west side of S.E. 58th Ave. (Hwy. 35), approximately two miles south of Maricamp Rd. (Hwy.464) in Ocala, FL. We have many many puppies, dogs, kittens and cats that need special love and good homes.

The Humane Society’s purpose is to prevent cruelty, suffering and overpopulation to animals in Marion County, to afford relief to such animals when sick or injured, to assist in the placing of pets in new homes and to increase kindness to and consideration of animals through humane education and community outreach.
The Humane Society services also include affordable spay/neuter services, educational presentations, cruelty & thrift store.

Horse Protection Association of Florida
A non-profit organization dedicated to the humane treatment and proper care of horses. HPAF’s goal is to protect horses through consistent standards of horse care. Education is the way to accomplish this goal. Rescue: horses are provided rehabilitation in a caring environment. Foster Home Program: to place each horse in a permanent home suited to the needs of the individual horse.
